Landing is an Indie-Drone-Space band, based in Connecticut (USA), releasing Singles, EPs, and Albums since 2001. They were formed when the duo of Aaron Snow and Adrienne Snow (previously known as May Landing) were joined by more members. “Motionless I-VI” is an album that contains selections of music taken from Subscription Series Collection 02. Landing is one of Dave’s favorite US bands (Dave is the owner of Sulatron Records, the label that released this album), and here’s a few words about the release from Sulatron’s press release:

“Motionless I-VI” consists of just 2 long tracks, one on each side of the vinyl LP. Side “A” is occupied by the 19:56min “Motionless I-III”, a track that starts in an ambient-like way, becoming quite a trippy kind of improvisational, flirting with Space-Psych, emerging a cold n’ dark feel that slowly becomes mellower and dreamier, resulting a wonderful Drone-y Psychic soundscape though towards its end it enters a shoegaze territory. Side ”B“ contains the rest parts of Motionless, “Motionless IV-VI”, a 20:00min anthem full of ambient drone-y ethereal soundscapes, lo-fi, and fully improvised emerging a strong futuristic cinematic feel towards its end… So, in conclusion, if you are a ‘Space Admirer’ and you’re fond of Drone music, then this album “Motionless I-VI” perfectly mixes both of them, so all you aficionados out there, what are you waiting for?
